About Pilates

The exercise system now known as Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century and he originally called it ‘Contrology’. Pilates provides a strength and flexibility workout, placing emphasis on breathwork and creating a mind-body connection.

The system can be adapted for most individuals to accommodate their level of fitness or mobility, limitations, and personal goals.

My Studio

My studio is currently based out of my home on School Road in Moseley.

It is equipped with two hand-made 80” aluminium frame Reformers, a Wunda Chair, a Ped-O-Pull, a classical mat, plus many smaller, hand-held items, so that you can get the most out of your sessions.

The Powerhouse is here to provide a welcoming, inclusive, safe, and judgement-free space for individuals to achieve their movement goals.
